Security was a key phrase of developing this control software for schools. The software is protected against tampering so it can be used for all students who need control of their internet time and behavior.
It has a child and adult mode for safer surfing for anyone using the computer.
Users cannot uninstall, change settings, or close the program without the administrator password.
Choose to run Responsible Surfing in Stealth (invisible) mode, or in Visible mode. Responsible Surfing can also become visible when your chosen SHOW KEY sequence is pressed.
Responsible Surfing is managed by dual processes. The two processes supervise each other, so that if one is closed through the Task Manager, the other one is still running and will turn it back on (only one process can be closed at a time in Task Manager).
You can choose the default blocked site messages or create a custom message for the school, either text or audio versions.
The AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) is only applicable in visible mode.
