People who gamble online are more likely
than others who gamble to suffer from gambling addiction

A study from the University of Connecticut has revealed that out of 389 participants 11% suffered from gambling addiction.  The most interesting finding was however that even though those who gambled online were fewer than others they were more likely to spend more money. Online gamblers had also lost control to a greater degree than other gamblers.
The study has already sparked the interest within the field of gambling therapy with changes in emphasis and preventive measures that take into account that the internet is here to stay and gambling opportunities online are going to increase.

If you have a problem with gambling addiction you can manage your compulsive gambling by using Responsibe Surfing.  Only thing you have to do is having someone else control the password of Responsible Surfing.  You can then simply use gambling addiction profile which blocks gambling sites and blocks the ability to use your credit card
